Common Leys FarmIn between your one day a week on campus you will be required to engage in private study and homework each week. You will be assessed via practical assessments, written coursework and one on-line test. You will need to provide your own grooming tunic, and a set of basic grooming equipment.
鈥 Preparing and grooming dogs prior to bathing鈥 Bathing of dogs鈥 Drying dogs and preparing a dog for styling鈥 Carrying out trimming of a dog鈥檚 coat to prepare for styling鈥 Moving and lifting dogs鈥 Maintaining the cleanliness and biosecurity of the dog grooming environment鈥 Professional conduct鈥 An introduction to anatomical features, breed characteristics and behaviour of dogs
In addition to the course fees you should expect to spend in the region of 拢200 on;

Please make sure you also have a pair of nonslip shoes and a A4 ring binder. Bursaries may be available to eligible students.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
