Students on a Level 3 course have the best chance of achieving their qualifications if they study at һ��ݹ��� rather than any other college in England, a recent government report has found.

Published by the Department for Education and the Education and Skills Funding Agency, it reveals that the College has the highest achievement rates of all General Further Education (GFE) Colleges in England for Level 3 courses.

Based on the 2015-16 academic year, the College has trumped more than 200 other GFE Colleges with its 93.2% achievement rate, ahead of Cambridge Regional College in second.

These A Level equivalent qualifications provide a wealth of opportunities for college students who progress from their level 3 qualifications on to University, into apprenticeships or into work, just as they would do from A Levels. Along with benefitting from the £34m recently invested in the college campuses and fantastic links with employers, studying at this level at һ��ݹ��� enables students to take advantage of high-quality courses in many core subjects, including Engineering, Business, Computing, Science, Health & Care, Art & Design, Animal Care and Sport, amongst many more.

The report also showed a range of ‘Top 10’ triumphs for the College, including being in the top 10 colleges in England for GCSE Maths A*-C achievement rates. 16-18 year-old Level 3 apprenticeship success rates also place the college results within the top ten colleges in England.

The college’s apprenticeship provision was recently graded “outstanding” by Ofsted, and the results for all apprenticeship timely success rates released in this report place the college performance within the top 10% of all colleges in England, firmly cementing the college’s place at Oxfordshire’s highest quality apprenticeship provider.

Speaking about the report, Principal Di Batchelor said: “To receive the news that our level students do better than at any other college in England speaks volumes for the high quality of courses we offer and the ethos of success we have established here at the College.”
